The game begins in the lobby of a skyscraper, where you select your aircraft. Once you’ve chosen your plane, hit the battle button to launch into the vast skies. Your plane will fly in a straight trajectory, and the real challenge begins.

Controls and Gameplay Mechanics

On the left side of the screen, you’ll find a shirt button that allows you to move your plane left, right, up, or down. Alternatively, you can tilt your device to control the plane’s movements, helping you dodge incoming bullets. On the right side, there’s a missile cluster icon, which is your key to dropping bombs or launching rockets at enemy planes. When your missiles hit their targets, expect to see spectacular explosions and thick clouds of black smoke filling the sky.

Build Your Airplane Garage

As you progress, collect fighters to build an impressive airplane garage that will be the envy of many. During battles, both player and enemy stats are displayed on the screen. A radar in the upper right corner helps you track enemy positions. When an enemy plane approaches, the radar will signal and light up. The number of aircraft on both sides is usually balanced, so the first team to shoot down all opposing planes wins.

Game Modes

In addition to the classic 5v5 battle mode, there’s also a mode where you must destroy the enemy base. Use bombs or grenades to target key locations and confuse the enemy team. Remember, you’re in the midst of WWII, so expect to see historically accurate aircraft models. These planes are painted in moss green with shark teeth designs, black, blue, and white stripes, and red and blue circles on their wings. Most planes are designed to blend into the environment, making them harder to spot in the woods.

Upgrade Your Aircraft

To increase your chances of victory, you can upgrade your aircraft’s stats. While your plane is resting in the garage, monitor its stats and make improvements. In Wings of Heroes, you can’t upgrade the entire plane at once. Instead, you’ll need to focus on individual indicators. For example, upgrading the engine boosts speed and climbing ability, while enhancing warheads increases the number of missiles you can fire. Refining the aircraft’s materials reduces damage from enemy bullets, and maintaining the propellers ensures smooth flight and prevents deviations from your intended path.

• Domination Mode: Capture and hold control points to win.
• Ace Mode Domination: A more challenging version of Domination Mode where auto-aiming is disabled, requiring precise aiming. However, the rewards and experience points (XP) are significantly higher.
• Dogfight Mode: A direct 5v5 battle between players and the enemy team.
• Annihilation Mode: Win by destroying all enemy control points without necessarily eliminating all enemy planes.
