Gameplay Mechanics

The battlefield in Time Wars is divided into two areas by a yellow line. Your defensive zone is designed like a chessboard, with alternating squares. You must strategically place your heroes in the most effective cells to launch attacks against the enemy. Additionally, some cells are reserved for building your base. Your territory consists of 35 empty squares arranged in a 7×5 grid. Initially, only the first row closest to the enemy border is accessible. To expand your army’s space, you must spend in-game currency to unlock additional squares.

When enemies approach, a circular target appears on the screen. Aim it at the most crowded areas to unleash devastating attacks. Timing and precision are key to surviving the onslaught.

Diverse Battlefields

Since Time Wars spans across space and time, the battlefields are a mix of locations from different eras. Each battlefield carries the unique style and essence of its time period. You might find yourself fighting on a lush green road flanked by massive rocks, or the same road under the cover of night, shrouded in gray. Some battlefields feature a blend of nature and modernity, with one side dominated by towering trees and the other by a bustling street filled with parked cars and houses. Heroes from Different Eras

Time Wars boasts a vast roster of heroes, each representing the strengths of their respective time periods. You can recruit mobile heroes clad in gray suits, equipped with human-sized shields, or farmers wearing felt hats and wielding sharp rakes, hoes, and spears. Modern commando soldiers in blue attire carry advanced AK rifles that fire fiery bullets, while soldiers in familiar green uniforms wield grenade launchers. The more powerful the hero, the more resources you’ll need to recruit them.

Challenging Levels

As a screen-based action game, Time Wars offers a range of levels, from easy to highly challenging. Each level requires you to eliminate a specific number of enemies. For example, at level 26, you must defeat 55 ancient warriors who attack simultaneously, leaving little room for error. Track the number of enemies remaining using the yellow column in the right corner of the screen. As you progress, the difficulty increases, with some levels featuring fewer but more formidable foes. For instance, level 207 tasks you with defeating only 40 enemies, but they include police officers, thugs, and protesters.

Tactical Support

In addition to mass shooting, players can employ tactical attacks to gain an edge in battle. Time Wars provides white rockets located in the left corner of the screen. These rockets pack immense destructive power but are limited in number. Use them wisely by targeting the most crowded enemy formations. Collect gold coins throughout the game to purchase items, heroes, weapons, and additional rockets.
